"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes." –Marcel Proust
Family is at the heart of everything we do. Between us, we are proud parents to four amazing kids—Dan’s two sons and Marie’s son and daughter—who keep us busy (and inspired!) with their wide variety of passions. From baseball and ice hockey to drama, choir, orchestra, marching band, and gymnastics, our home is always filled with energy, creativity, and a lot of cheering from the audience sidelines.
Our family also includes Stormy, our rescued black Labrador adopted from Stop the Suffering Animal Rescue, who adds endless joy and unconditional love to our lives.
When we’re not working or supporting the kids’ activities, we love spending time together outdoors—camping, fishing, and exploring nature—or gathered around the kitchen creating meals. Cooking, baking, and grilling (sometimes with Dan’s smoker going all weekend) are some of our favorite ways to connect and share time together. Books and quiet reading time are just as treasured, balancing out our full and busy days.
At the core of our family are values we live by every day: honesty, integrity, compassion, and helping others. These guide not only how we raise our children, but also how we approach our work and our community. For us, it’s about building meaningful connections, making a positive impact, and always showing up with kindness and authenticity.
